I believe in science. The Greenhouse Effect and the warming it causes is a scientific fact. What, exactly, is happening to the Earth's atmosphere and her oceans with all that man-made CO2 isn't "exactly clear" to us. Climate Change problems are further complicated by methane emissions and by ozone-layer-depleting chemicals we've emitted.

I'm trying to wrap my feeble head around Craig Steiner's postulation on his Global Warming denialism that you referred to in Mando's link. Do you guys truly buy into this guy's rap about how "global warming was killed by arguments used by liberals against Intelligent Design." I have never heard about this sheeple-poop rap before 'just now'. Please forgive me since I'm an overdosed village idiot, and I don't get out much!

"Welcome to the world of Intelligent Design, Mr. Hansen," says Craig Steiner. [Dr. James Hansen heads the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies]

"Intelligent Design is a theory that competes with evolution. It states that many aspects of what we see in the species are too rare to be the result of anything other than a deliberate intelligent design. In other words, it wasn’t random mutations that evolved the species but a guiding hand implementing a purposeful intelligent design. While the theory doesn’t purport to define the “intelligence” that guided the changes to the species (could be God, could be aliens, as far as the theory is concerned), the implications are obvious.

While supporters of Intelligent Design have made many scientific arguments in favor of the theory, those arguments have been faced with objection from the more traditional “scientific community.” That's healthy. Science is supposed to be about proposing theories and then others trying to tear it down. So for every argument an Intelligent Design supporter offers, an evolutionist will offer a counter-argument." -- stated by Craig Steiner on Aug 5, 2012.
It's only sheeple-pooping fair, if you're gonna be taking the Global Warming debate to Jesus, let's get a Methodist Sunday school teacher into this conversation. I would love to see and hear a debate between Bill McKibben and Craig Steiner.

Bill McKibben is the author of a dozen books about the environment, beginning with The End of Nature in 1989, which is regarded as the first book for a general audience on climate change. He is a founder of the grassroots climate campaign 350.org, which has coordinated 15,000 rallies in 189 countries since 2009. Time Magazine called him 'the planet's best green journalist' and the Boston Globe said in 2010 that he was 'probably the country's most important environmentalist.' Schumann Distinguished Scholar at Middlebury College, he holds honorary degrees from a dozen colleges, including the Universities of Massachusetts and Maine, the State University of New York, and Whittier and Colgate Colleges. In 2011 he was elected a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

"Rick Perry’s response to the drought so far [in Texas] has been to have a statewide day of prayer. Now, I’m a Methodist Sunday school teacher, so I’m completely down with prayer. That’s good. But in most theologies, prayer works a little better if you aren’t at the same time trying to think of every policy you can do to make matters worse. It’s astonishing that someone is able to make George Bush look relatively smart about scientific things. The Governor is completely wrong, of course, about the science. It’s not only strong, it grows stronger with every passing heat wave and every year of record temperature. There’s no scientific doubt." -- stated by Bill McKibben on Aug 23, 2011
I am not a scientist, nor a politician, nor am I a preacher. But I did publish an exposé about Climate Change and Global Warming. It's all based upon science and journalism. Everything I put together is simple and easy to understand. I put my exposé on The Archive, here:
